Expanding storytelling opportunities with video

Ryan is using video to create new storytelling opportunities. ChicoER.com has had video on its Web site since 2006. In 2009, the Enterprise-Record launched live video broadcasts of local events, including high-school football.

As the Enterprise-Record continues to discover the possibilities of the medium, video coverage has featured elections, raw video and sporting events.

Ryan produces video and helps others shoot, produce and edit programs.

Roadrunner Run-through

E-R sports writer Patrick Kinmartin hosts a weekly program where he interviews a member from Butte College's sports teams. Ryan shoots the video and provides production support.

Hydrogen Road Tour in Chico

Ryan shoot and edited this short video feature about the Hydrogen Road Tour visiting Chico. It was one of the first E-R productions in widescreen.

Prep Football Show

The Enterprise-Record helps produce the Paradise Post's weekly prep football show. Ryan helped shoot the weekly program and provided editing and production support.
