Northstate Public Radio is the National Public Radio member station for Chico and Redding. With a broadcast footprint approximately the size of the state of Ohio, Northstate Public Radio reaches from north of Sacramento to the Oregon board.

Podcasting

E-R Newsroom Update logoAt the Enterprise-Record, Ryan launched and anchored the newspaper's daily audio podcast, Newsroom Update.

The podcast provided a daily bulletin of news headlines for readers. It was also a tool used to help train newsroom personnel in audio production.

Listen to a sample edition.

Newsroom Update was discontinued in 2008.

Currently, the E-R sports reporters record two weekly podcasts -- the Prep Show and the ChicoER Sports Show. I provide production assistance and help upload it to the Web.
